KANSAS City has been tipped to make a huge move to bolster the wide receiver room.
The Chiefs are wasting no time in improving their roster in a bid to get back on top.
Patrick Mahomes and his team were resoundingly beaten by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
The defeat saw their hopes of a historic three-peat dashed and left the team at a crossroads.
Kansas City built a team with a lot of star talent on short-term deals to try and win an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl.
They have 18 players out of contract headed into free agency next month – including some key receivers.
The Chiefs have been linked with Seattle Seahawks star DK Metcalf.
The 27-year-old has one year left on his $61 million deal with Seattle.
And that could force them into a trade rather than risk losing Metcalf as a free agent next year.
According to Bleacher Report, a deal could see the Chiefs trade a first-round draft pick for Metcalf.
Five of the Chiefs’ wide receivers from 2024 are out of contract this year.
And Mahomes’ favorite target, tight end Travis Kelce, is considering retirement.
